What better way to welcome spring than by surrounding yourself with blooming flowers and creating artwork? Taking inspiration from 18th-century artist Mary Delany, (who, at 73, invented a new way to create botanical illustrations: collage!), we will create vivid floral illustrations while surrounded by Allan Gardens’ blossoms with the guidance of artist and art educator Alex Warrender. No art experience necessary!
A multi-generational workshop. Children ages 7 and up welcome, parental/guardian supervision for kids aged 13 and under.
When? Sunday May 4th, 1 - 3pm.
Where? The Allan Gardens Children’s Conservatory, 19 Horticultural Ave, Toronto, ON
Registration required to ensure we have materials for everyone!
