Welcome in spring at Allan Gardens and learn the traditional peach pit game and take part in a maple tap with Cayuga Elder Donna Powless.
Learn teachings of the game, plants and the changing of the seasons in our beautiful Children's Conservatory greenhouse. A delicious meal will be provided as well!
Witness our inaugural maple tapping inside of our Teaching Garden and learn about the technique and history.
🌱 The Friends of Allan Gardens are hosting Allan Garden’s inaugural Seedy Sunday! We’ll have drop-in activities like vermicomposting, a seed exchange table, and more! Plus, don’t miss our fantastic vendors and organizations!
👀 What to expect? This is a drop-in program for all ages and all gardening levels. We will have different stations set up. You are encouraged to visit them all!
