For the Birds - A Drop-in Program for Kids and Families

  • Allan Gardens Children's Conservatory 160 Gerrard Street East Toronto, ON, M5A 2E5 Canada (map)

Calling all early birds and birds of a feather! Fly on over to Allan Gardens on April 29 to learn about the amazing connections between birds and plants.

Plant a nasturtium flower to grow at home for the hummingbirds and make a pine cone bird feeder. Learn about plants with bird names and go on a fun scavenger hunt in the park. Storytime is at 11a.m.

We'll also have a small pop-up vintage posters sale!

This program is best suited to children between 3-8 years of age but younger and older siblings are welcome to join in the fun too! Parental or caregiver supervision is required.

This event is PWYC. A $5 suggested donation per child is appreciated.

All activities will take place in the Children's Conservatory on the Jarvis/Carlton side of the park.

This program will be led by Diana Teal of the Friends of Allan Gardens and run by our wonderful team of FOAG volunteers.
