🌱The Friends of Allan Gardens are hosting Allan Garden’s inaugural Seedy Sunday! We’ll have drop-in activities like vermicomposting, a seed exchange table, and more! Plus, don’t miss our fantastic vendors and organizations!
đź‘€ What to expect? This is a drop-in program for all ages and all gardening levels. We will have different stations set up. You are encouraged to visit them all!
➡️ Seeds for sale. Lehang, who sources Vietnamese culinary seeds from her family business back home, Yukie from Hana Earth Gardens, and Urban Harvest. More vendors to come!
➡️ Visit Toronto Nature Stewards and other amazing organizations!
➡️ A community seed exchange table where you leave your extra seeds, and take seeds you need.
➡️ A vermicompost demonstration station to inspire you all to take up vermicomposting at home!
➡️ Kid-friendly activities including a scavenger hunt and seed envelope making!
➡️ A plant sale of volunteer propagated plants. Funds raised during plant sales go towards ensuring our programs remain free and accessible to all!

📍 Location: Allan Gardens Children’s Conservatory & the newly renovated Edible/Teaching Garden at 19 Horticultural Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M5A 2E5
🚲 Come on foot, by bike, or take transit. If you drive, please park in accordance with parking regulations. Please note that there is NO parking on site. There is street parking along Carlton St. and Gerrard St., as well as a Green P parking lot at 405 Sherbourne.
🛍️ We encourage you to bring your own bags to reduce waste!
