Join us as we explore our garden’s underworld. Learn about the little critters living beneath the surface, and about the relationships between soil health and the environment.
We will also be joined by two SPECIAL GUESTS:
Yousef Abdelsalam of Ogden Agriculture will be using a digital microscope to teach kids about all the little microbes in the soil.
Cheyenne Sundance of Sundance Harvest will be speaking about the soil cycle relationship with microgreens and how to grow them indoors in the winter!
This program is best suited to children between 3-8 years of children of all ages are welcome! Parental or caregiver supervision is required.
This event is pay-what-you-can. A $5 suggested donation per child is appreciated. We will also have a pop-up plant sale with kid-friendly plants.
All activities will take place in the Children's Conservatory on the Jarvis/Carlton (west) side of the park.
This program will be led by Matt Canaran of the Friends of Allan Gardens and run by our wonderful team of FOAG volunteers.
