🌸 The Friends of Allan Gardens and George Brown’s School of English as a Second Language (ESL) have teamed up to host Allan Garden’s Nowruz Celebration! This is a public event for people of all ages, and backgrounds focused on sharing Iranian culture and celebrating our collective love for spring and spring blooms!
Date/time: March 23rd from 1pm to 4pm
Location: Allan Garden’s Children's Conservatory at 19 Horticultural Ave, Toronto, ON
Schedule of Activities:
1pm: Welcome, tea and traditional snacks*
1:15pm: Hoor Dance performance by the internationally recognized Anahita Nayebi
1:45pm: Musical workshop for kids and families by Dlaram & Mozhdeh.
2pm to 4pm: Nowruz inspired crafts, a scavenger hunt & other fun activities!

This event is run by Friends of Allan Gardens volunteers, and students of the George Brown’s ESL program.
Special thanks to Mozhdeh of George Brown College for organizing the festivities!
$5 or pay-what-you-can donation would be welcome to cover the snacks and materials.
*Please note: snacks, while nut free, were made in a facility that handles nuts, and may have come into contact with them. Please plan accordingly.
