Tour Description 

Michael will be conducting his tour with a focus on tree identification; providing an ID toolkit for participants, and telling stories along the way about each tree’s special place in our urban environments.

He will also discuss the unique stresses to the Urban Forest today, and also the future tree canopy of Allan Gardens.

Tour Details

Meeting Point:  Please meet on the east side of the Palm House in Allan Gardens. Tour will depart promptly at the start time.

Weather: Tours will proceed in sunny weather, and in light rain conditions. In the case of thunder and lighting, the tours will be rescheduled where possible. Please come prepared for the beautiful array of weather conditions possible this time of the year. 

Tour Group Size: FOAG will not require advanced registration for the tours as we’d like the events to be organic, accessible and inclusive. Please come prepared for tour groups of any size.
